Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our prints, frames, and orders.
We ship to the UK, selected countries in Europe, USA, Canada and Australia. For a full list of countries and more details, visit our delivery information page.
Estimated delivery dates are shown on every product page and depend on the shipping option you choose. If you have selected Proof Required, we will not despatch your order until you have approved the proof.
Please note these estimated delivery dates update throughout the day and may not reflect the date shown at the time of ordering.
For personalised products we offer artwork proofs — a mockup of your customisations so you can see exactly what your print will look like before we despatch it. We email these to you, so make sure to check your inbox (usually within a few hours Mon–Fri, though please allow up to 24 hours).

After receiving your proof you can request as many changes as you like — a different colour, a bespoke message, a completely different date line — it's entirely up to you. We only charge £1 for this service.
No — a proof is optional. If you select Proof Required at checkout we will send you a design preview before printing. Nothing is despatched until you confirm approval, so it does add some time to your order.
If you are confident in the details you have provided, you can skip the proof and your order goes straight into production.
We never send print-only orders in tubes — this damages the paper and makes it almost impossible to frame correctly afterwards. We also cannot bend our thick 320gsm paper, which far exceeds competitors' paper weights.
All print-only orders are sent flat inside strong, rigid, tried-and-tested packaging to prevent bending during transit — including all sizes up to A2. This is completely unique to Blim & Blum.
All prints are produced on 310gsm cotton rag paper — archival, acid-free, and made from 100% cotton rag fibres. This is the same specification used for fine art and museum-quality prints, and it ensures a print life of more than 85 years, meeting the Fine Art Trade Guild lightfastness requirements.
Our frames are manufactured in Germany or Italy by Nielsen Bainbridge, one of the world's leading picture frame moulding manufacturers. Materials are designed and tested to the highest industry standards.
We offer seven frame finishes: Black Oak, White Oak, Oak, Matt Black, Matt Silver, Brushed Copper, and Champagne Gold.
Because every personalised product is made specifically for you, we are unable to refund errors that were within your control — for example a typo in the information you provided.
However, we offer 100% satisfaction on everything within our control. If something goes wrong on our side, get in touch and we will put it right. For damaged or defective items, contact us at hello@blimandblum.com straight away with your proof of purchase.
Contact us at hello@blimandblum.com straight away with a photo of the damage and your order details. We will arrange a replacement as quickly as possible.
We accept all major payment methods at checkout including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay.
All products ship from the United Kingdom. Taxes are included in the price for UK customers (VAT) and US customers (import duty and taxes). Customers in all other countries may be liable for additional charges from their local customs authority on delivery — these are not included in the price.
The quickest ways to reach us are via the live chat on our website (bottom right corner) or by emailing hello@blimandblum.com. We reply to all messages within one business day, seven days a week.
